Volunteering

Volunteering can be an opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.

Volunteering with Argyll & Bute Rape Crisis is a very rewarding and worthwhile way to spend some of your valuable free time. We never underestimate the vital contribution which Volunteers make to our Organisation. Really, we couldn’t do what we need to do without them.

As a Volunteer Support Worker, you will receive intensive training in all aspects of Sexual Violence, which you will put to good use in supporting survivors through extremely difficult times. You will provide cover for our dedicated Female and Male helplines and you may wish to become involved with our Youth Project (TESSA) or with Group Support.

Further Volunteer Recruitment Campaigns will be advertised in the local press and on this website, so keep checking. Feel free to contact us to talk about becoming a Volunteer. Females only - exempt under Section 7(2) (D) & (E) Sex Discrimination Act 1975
