Family & Friends

Apart from traumatising its victims, Sexual Abuse has a ripple effect which affects many of the people around the Survivor. We fully recognize that it is often very difficult for partners, family members and friends also. They become “secondary victims” of the crime.

We can offer emotional and practical support to non-offending partners, family members and friends who are often unsure of how to deal with what has happened. We can support you through this difficult time.

In order to maintain our high standard of confidentiality, the Survivors and their partner/family member/friends are always seen by two different Support Workers.

We also have a resource library which can be accessed for additional support tools.
