About Us
At Argyll and Bute Rape Crisis, our priority is supporting survivors of sexual violence and helping you to take back control of your life.
Established in 2006, Argyll and Bute Rape Crisis provides support services to survivors of rape and sexual abuse in the area.
All of our workers are trained extensively to support survivors, with survivors at the heart of what we do.
As well as supporting survivors, we also support non-offending friends and family members, as we aware of the impact sexual trauma can have on those around the survivor.
We offer a range of services, including:
- Crisis support
- Phone and email helpline
- Email and Zoom/Skype support
- Face to face support
- Advocacy
- Art therapy
- Signposting to other services where appropriate and beneficial
- Awareness raising
- Advice for other agencies
- Sexual violence prevention workshops with young people
